Artist Bio
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA then moved to Los
Angeles to study fashion.
My early art influence was a friend and street artist, KHno7
- she was a badass artist who used stencils and spray paint
tagging the streets of LA. I studied art and fashion history
in school, but held street art in a higher regard.
My art began in 2017 on a whim- I took spray paint
and cardboard to my sisters house. I was looking for something fun to do with my nieces and nephew. Cut out cardboard squares and we “tagged” them.
We created Art, “graffiti art” it was simple and beautiful.
My art began on a whim, creating art with my neices and nephew. Once I began creating, I couldn't stop. You may notice a theme of heart and love throughout my work. Creating art got me through some of the darkest times in my life. After a 20 year addiction to drugs, in Feb 2020 I decided to get clean, and art was there for me. Art helped me learn to love myself when I surely didn't know how to love myself. The torn heart is a metaphor that's changed since I first drew it. I drew it, and got it tattooed on me, this was early 2000's when I was in college and felt broken.
Later the heart has transformed meaning as I transformed myself. I grew to love myself, and realize the heart is an example of grit, and resilience and learning to love yourself.
Now residing in Harrisburg, PA I’m working to build my collection- I hope you love it!
